END OF YEAR NOTES

Giuseppe Gentile finishes 2nd in PSCA Pro Street championship points!  Grabbing a couple wins and runner-ups along the way he came within 5 points of winning it all.  He also upped the performance envelope in the class by running 6.27 at over 231 mph!  First PSCA Pro Street car in the 6.20s and first over 230mph.  Congrats to Giuseppe and crew!

Rich Zehring goes 6.80s at over 200 mph on his way to a 2nd place points finish in Outlaw 10.5.  His Gene Fulton Chevy has been maintained by Pettis Performance throughout the entire ‘08 season.  Rich also grabbed a runner-up finish at the Street Car Super Nationals where he outlasted all of the 32 car field except the likes of Billy Glidden.  Way Cool Team Zehring!

Doug Sikora gets his Outlaw 10.5 SB Ford nitrous combo to 7.12 @ 196 mph and a 3rd place points finish despite missing a few races this year.  One of the quickest automatic trans nitrous powered SB cars in the country will sport an F3 Pro-Charger for ‘09.  Lookout!

Allen Stewart nabs a runner up finish in Xtreem Drag Radial at the biggest west coast race of the year.  A string of 7.70’s at the Street Car Super Nationals in tricky conditions got him to the final round just a couple months after bringing the car out and getting his license.  Way to go Allen and crew!

Dr Chris Biggerstaff wins the ANRA 9.60 index championship!  A couple wins in PSCA 9.60 index plus top 5 points finishes in PSCA and  WCHRA all while running 2 classes at several events with the same car!  Chris provided a true torture test of his 565ci BB Chevy with over 400 9 second passes.  Awesome year Chris!

There were also personal best ET’s and MPH’s by several of our customers.  We will update again soon with more info, pictures, and a general re-work of our website including some engine packages and general pricing.  Check back soon…..

PSCA RACE UPDATE 7-08

Dr. Chris Biggerstaff bags his second win in the Quick Street class with his Pettis powered BB Chevy Camaro.  This 975hp engine has over 300 9 second passes on it with only a valvespring change for freshen-up maintenance.

GIUSEPPE GENTILE SETS 229.5 MPH RECORD!!  Giuseppe with his new wild paint job storms to a new PSCA Pro Street MPH record in 100° weather!  A staging mishap kept him from winning the final round but his string of 6.30’s sent a message to all the other Pro Streeters out there.

Outlaw 10.5 was a another all Pettis final when #1 qualifier Rich Zehring defeated #2 qualifier Doug Sikora.  Rich sports a Gene Fulton 870ci nitrous engine that was freshend by Pettis Performance.  Doug uses a Pettis 427ci SB Ford with 2 stages of nitrous.

Extreem Radial showcased the return of Manny Figueroa.  Manny was “just havin some fun” and moved up a class for this race only and it nearly paid off.  His 8.09 in the final was almost enough to win and it was quicker than any of the Wild Street cars (his actual class) all weekend.
